*NEW* Ah Wanna Take A Ride

This roaring roots gospel arrangement goes by many names throughout the south - "Take a Ride", "Let Me Ride", "Swing Down, Chariot" to name a few. They are all roted in the messaging found in the African American spiritual, “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot”. The spiritual originally served as a song of mass exodus, but it was also a song for the dying transitioning to heavenly/ancestral realms. The latter use still stands today as a celebratory song of life and life after at homegoing services.
"Ah Wanna Take a Ride" can be performed with or without accompaniment.
